NEW VIDEO: Brooklyn’s dreampop/shoe-gaze outfit Dead Leaf Echo have toured back-to-back over the last twelve months, tipping over 100 shows across every major city in the U.S. supporting the likes of Beach Fossils, Weekend, Whirr, The Warlocks, The Telescopes and The Ocean Blue.
In between their hectic tour schedule the band released their true.deep.sleeper EP earlier this year, and recently premiered their latest release single so.wrong on Brooklyn Vegan this week. Directed by the band’s leader singer/guitarist, Lg Galleon, the single follows much of the lead of their previous clips with a 90’s-infused aesthetic – this time evoked with the filter of blurred screens and projections. Producing and mastering credits for the single include Monte Vallier (Weekend, Wax Idols,) and Joe Lambert (Deerhunter, School of Seven Bells), and for those opting for hard copy, the single can be found on the new 10" EP available now on Moon Sounds Records.
